Gerard Loisel has been teaching marine biology to students of all ages for decades. For 26 years he taught marine biology and oceanography at Nova Southeastern University where he was the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Teacher of the Year for 2008-2009. He was also the host of the PBS television series "Marine Aquarium World" and was featured in a Discovery Science Channel series. Recently, he's appeared on NBC6 several times to talk about killer whales and crocodiles.
